In the spring of 1657 Samuel stepped onto the shore of Virginia. His father, that year, had been killed during a hurricane that swept over Bermuda. The family trading business was in ruins. Twenty-nine year old Samuel decided to move on. So began one journey into the American adventure. Now you know why I chose 1657 as an alias.
My family history is tied to Virginia, Maryland, Tennessee, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Arkansas, Missouri, and Texas. Somehow my grandfathers couldn't seem to locate Florida or Louisiana. A stray one found California, but that is another story.
Now you are going to ask what the heck this has to do with this blog.
It is simple......absolutely nothing.

Free speech doesn't mean mandatory listening. Keep it civil. Disagree all you want but show your fanny and you'll meet the hammer.
